Restaurateur Ramon A. Martinez Jr.
brings to light a unique experience where Spanish and Caribbean influences are richly fused with modern and seamless bursts of native taino art and photography.
At the back of the diningroom is an impressive DJ booth which hosts a variety of DJs, depending on the night. Be sure to make a reservation for Friday Night, however, as the place packs up fast full of afterwork. The bar boasts a large mural of the taino deities, designed by Ramon A. Martinez himself. Striking in its native yet somehow sleekly modern presence.
Dominican himself, he likes to think of Taino Soleil as a tucked away island oasis in the bustling urban sprawl of downtown Brooklyn, where mojitos, caipirinhas, & tropical long islands are the cocktails of choice.
